Everything Went Black

Starting to read Northrop Frye - Fearful Symmetry - which I received in the mail recently. Posted by Picasa

Ah, the nice, new reprinting, with Blake's Ancient of Days on the cover. My tired (and splitting) edition is from 1958, though I can't imagine I'd part with it, even if I bothered to buy a new edition, which I probably should do, sooner rather than later. For my money, the book is still a work of astonishing genius, especially for 1947.

Actually, my edition is a used copy printed in 1974. The front cover is a white, rough sketch over a purple background. My knowledge of Blake is a bit sketchy (pardon the pun), so I suspect it's a Blake drawing.
